Barcelona continues to be linked to the summer movement of a growing list of young players going forward.
Earlier today, Mundo Deportivo reported that Joan Laporta and the company were considering the transfer of Patrik Schick, Rafael Leao, Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner. This could be due to the growing perception that Erling Haaland is more likely to move to Manchester City than Barcelona.
The signing of Atletico Madrid record Joao Felix is another option, according to Goal. Barcelona have already inquired about Felix’s acquisition as part of Antoine Griezmann’s exchange deal last summer and that interest has not died down. Felix’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is also committed to making this possible.
Atletico, however, have no intention of selling, nor do they need to be in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, SPORT also linked Barcelona with options going forward. With Marcus Rashford’s contract expiring in 2023, Barcelona are wondering if they can defend his signature at a reasonable price. Rashford has not been a part of Manchester United recently.
