Chelsea have enjoyed an unparalleled period of success for Roman Abramovich for nearly two decades as an owner at Stamford Bridge.

From the five Premier League and two Champions League, as well as the Club World Cup victory last month, the Blues have won it all under the Russian billionaire.

But amid growing political pressure following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Abramovich has reportedly opened up about selling Chelsea for the first time.

According to The Telegraph, at least three clubs are circling Chelsea in the belief that Abramovich is ready to leave.

Abramovich announced on Saturday, the day before the Blues’EFL Cup final against Liverpool, that he was stepping down as owner.

The report shows that Chelsea are determined to get bids earlier this week as the transfer of security at Stamford Bridge becomes a possibility.
