Former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is awaiting the arrival of France’s national team despite growing ties with Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Les Bleus International player has not played since leaving Los Blancos in May 2021.
The 49-year-old has been linked with a move to PSG this summer if Mauricio Pochettino decides to leave the club to join Manchester United.
Pochettino has a contract until the end of 2022/23 but may be tempted by the return of the Premier League to Old Trafford.
However, despite being offered a lucrative deal in Paris, reports from RMC Sport say Zidane is expecting a top job in French football.
Didier Deschamps led France to glory in the 2018 World Cup but his current contract expires at the end of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Zidane has already expressed his desire to run his country one day but will not push for a replacement for Deschamps ahead of the World Cup.
