Sadio Mane has informed his agents that he would be willing to leave Liverpool this summer if Real Madrid or Barcelona came calling.

The striker joined the All Reds in 2016 from Southampton and enjoyed an impressive career at Anfield, winning the Premier League, Champions League, and Club World Cup.

After his victory over AFCON against Senegal, Goal reports that Mane is ready to call time for his Liverpool career if one of the La Liga players wants him.

Mane wants to make it clear that he is the best African footballer in history, and believes that moving to Spain could help him achieve more in Liverpool.

The goal adds that negotiations between Mane and Liverpool over a new contract have not improved much – his current contract expires in 2023 – and they also realize that new player Luis Diaz is playing in the same area as Senegal.

Real Madrid have always been interested in Mane, and Zinedine Zidane wants to sign him after scoring a goal against them in the 2018 Champions League final. However, the French expert left immediately after that victory and Mane stayed in England.

At the time, key men in Barcelona’s press room were determined to sign Mane, but they may not have the power to end the deal.

The Blaugrana have been busy with the January transfer window, most notably the Ferran Torres signing of 55 million euros and the free transfer of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with Dani Alves and Adam Traore rejoining the club.
