Real Madrid received a major injury ahead of last weekend’s match against Granada. Los Blancos have been forced to face Athletic Club in the Copa del Rey without their striker.
Karim Benzema has scored 24 goals so far this season and is in the running for his goal-scoring prowess.
Without him, Real Madrid lost a major threat at the end of the pitch, and that was clearly shown as Ancelotti’s men lost 1-0 at Athletic Club, exiting the Copa del Rey in the process.
But the struggle without Benzema will not continue, as Los Blancos will welcome a striker back from injury this weekend.
Karim Benzema has trained and feels good before Sunday’s exit, when Real Madrid will be looking to return to action and lose their last two games.
Los Blancos, however, will be without Vinicius Junior, who is suspended after reaching his yellow card limit.
