Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has broken the club’s UEFA Champions League record.

The Portuguese superstar helped the team’s only goal in a 1-1 draw against Atlético Madrid away from home in the Round of 16 on Wednesday.

By giving Anthony Elanga an equalizer, Bruno Fernandes broke the record for the first player in UEFA Champions League history for an England team to help score a goal in six consecutive games.

Fernandes broke the record held by David Beckham, who managed the feat in 1998.

While the midfielder is in good shape with this number, he and the rest of the team will be hoping to expand their game in the second leg against Atlético, if they want to advance to the Quarter-Finals.
