Karim Benzema has not yet decided whether to sign another contract at Real Madrid. The Frenchman is in good health, scoring 24 goals this season in all competitions, putting himself in line to score the best goals in his career.

He also has one year left on his contract, and Florentino Perez has said he intends to add another year to the deal. That could give Benzema a chance to work with his overseas teammate Kylian Mbappe at the club level.

But according to Diario AS, Benzema is still unsure if he will stay at Real Madrid beyond his current contract, which will take him until he is 35 years old.

The matter is tied to the case of Erling Haaland, again, Real Madrid does not want to have Benzema and Haaland in the club, and not if they succeed in bringing in Mbappe.

Having all three of them could mean that one has to sit on a bench, an unexpected situation for any of them considering they are one of the best players in the world.

That could mean Los Blancos should miss Haaland, who could leave Borussia Dortmund this year. But it will be interesting to see how Benzema decides, anyway.
