Brazil 4-0 Paraguay: Selecao cruise to victory as Coutinho nets first international goal since 2020

Brazil continued their unbeaten World Cup qualifier 2022 as they beat Paraguay 4-0 on Tuesday night. With the defeat, Paraguay was statistically removed from Qatar in 2022.

Brazil had full control of the game, controlled it with 77% control, and used that to dominate its lower rivals.

Rafinha started things in the 28th minute with a fine goal, cleverly lowering the ball from Marquinhos before cutting in and finishing near the post.

Coutinho was about to hit 30 yards in just 60 minutes, with Marquinhos starting the movement from the center of the pitch.

Antony and Rodrygo will add insurance goals late as Brazil continues to finish their style qualifying race.

The victory means Selecao, who have already clinched their spot at Qatar 2022, are unbeaten in 15 qualifiers and remain four points clear of rivals Argentina at the top of the CONMEBOL standings.
