The Brazilian defender Dani Alves has been registered as a Barcelona player and is expected to play for the first time in a Copa del Rey match against Linares on Wednesday night, after being included in the squad.
The Brazilian international returned to Barcelona in November and made his 2nd official debut in a friendly against Boca Juniors a month later.
“We will be able to sign Dani Alves between today and tomorrow,” Barcelona sporting director Matthew Alemany said on Monday.
Now, the club has confirmed that Dani Alves is registered and can now play official games, as he has recovered after being tested for COVID-19 last week.
