Concern at PSG that Neymar won’t be back to face Real Madrid

Neymar vs city

Neymar’s absence in recent weeks has been a problem for Paris Saint-Germain and now the French club fears surprisingly the Brazilian could not recover in time to face Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The Parisian club still have Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, but would be very happy to have a full-fledged attacking team to restart the Champions League.

A report published by RMC Sport reveals that within the French team they know that the timing of Neymar’s recovery from an ankle may not see him return in time to the first leg, at least.

Although the injury forecast was worse than the actual damage, Neymar is still under pencil to return just in time for the second leg at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Neymar has been out of action since November 28 but is considering speeding up his return to play in key games.

The former Santos midfielder has suffered a serious injury since signing for Ligue 1 club, who previously missed out on the UEFA Champions League knockout game against Real Madrid and Manchester United.
