Barcelona and AC Milan want to sign Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen

Despite ongoing allegations that the Chelsea center-back is set to extend his contract by 2022, the Danish international has less than seven months left on his current contract.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has admitted his frustration with the situation, and that looks to have led the 25-year-old to spend time away from the club in recent weeks.

According to an Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano says Barcelona and AC Milan are ready to take advantage if the new terms are not finalized by the end of the year.

Although Barcelona will not be able to sign Christensen in January, they are committed to a free transfer agent and could jump on the bandwagon of negotiating a pre-contract agreement.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano says AC Milan may be tempted along the way as he seeks to find a replacement for the long-injured Simon Kjaer.
