Lionel Messi, De Paul and Emiliano Martinez nominated for 2021 IFFHS Best Player award

Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul have both been nominated for the 2021 IFFHS Player of the Year award.

lIONEL Messi and Rodrigo De Paul have both been nominated for the award at which the winner will be announced at the end of November. Leo Messi has won the Best Player of the 10 Years from 2011-2020 and is the best player in South America. Leo Messi has lifted the Copa America 2021 and Argentina trophy and has been named man of the match.

In addition to being nominated for the IFFHS Best Player Award, Leo Messi has always been nominated and one of the favorites to win the 2021 Ballon d’Or.

This is the first time De Paul has been named as a 27-year-old player with a good season with Udinese in addition to being part of the Copa America squad.

The Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez was also named Copa America goalkeeper where he won the tournament against Argentina. He was also nominated for the FIFA World Goalkeeper of the Year award, which will be announced in November. Here are the selected goalkeepers:
