There is yet to be a decision on Kylian Mbappe’s future in Paris Saint-Germain, and his chances of joining Real Madrid increase every week, but now teammate Angel Di Maria has added to the speculation.
“The truth is that this kind of thing is a personal decision. Kylian knows what path he wants to take in his life, in his career as an athlete,” Di Maria told RMC Sport.
“Obviously we’d like to tell him to revive, not leave, but it’s his decision. It’s a gift to get a chance to play with him.”
Neither Zinedine Zidane nor Lionel Messi will influence Mbappe’s decision as to what action to take next, as Real Madrid watches.
Come on January 1, 2022, Real Madrid will be able to start negotiations with Mbappe, a player who has been following him since his youth.
In the meantime, Mbappe is focused on playing for PSG and letting his football take over the most important role, instead of the media coverage that has followed since the opportunity to leave PSG for Real Madrid.
