Angel Di Maria scored Argentina’s fine goal in their 1-0 win over Uruguay in a World Cup qualifier 2022.

Di Maria scored at the start of the match and is the goal Argentina needs. Emiliano Martinez kept the score to 0-0 as Uruguay had a good chance from a close distance but Martinez saved. Paulo Dybala won the ball in the middle of the pitch and played Di Maria past the ball as he curled a shot from the edge of the penalty spot into the net that gave Argentina 1-0.

The rest of the first half of Uruguay created many chances for Argentina to hit a lot of passes.

Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni will make one change as Joaquin Correa is brought to Paulo Dybala. Scaloni will make two changes as Angel Correa is introduced by Angel Di Maria and Alejandro Papu Gomez to Lautero Martinez. Joaquin Correa had a good chance to score as Molina played the ball past the penalty area but Correa’s weak effort was saved.

Lionel Messi will play and be replaced by Gio Lo Celso as he would play for 15 minutes. Scaloni will bring one game as Exequiel Palacios replaces Rodrigo De Paul.
