Xavi Hernandez gets another win, Al Sadd victorious while he waits for Barca

Al Sadd has secured another win under Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez, although his future lies in the air amid Barcelona’s interest in his career as a coach.

The Qatari team defeated Al Ahli 4-1, with Santi Cazorla among those in the squad, although the former Arsenal and Villarreal did not score in the event.

The win resulted in the team being unbeaten in 35 league games, with Al Sadd still top of the Qatar Stars League who won the title last season.

Xavi Hernandez has won 7 trophies as a coach with Al Sadd, as well as 4 more as a player, and this could be his 2nd consecutive league title if he can see the season.

With 8th games played, Al Sadd has a three-point lead over Al Duhail in 2nd place. By Al Duhail his unbeaten record is in jeopardy, as he recorded 41 games in 2018.
