Ronald Koeman could give Sergio Aguero his first start as a Barcelona player when the Barca visit Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday night.
Sergio Aguero has already scored his first goal for Barcelona, striking comfort in El Clasico on Sunday after taking his place. So far, he has played 3 games in 34 minutes recovering from his injuries, against Real Madrid, Dynamo Kyiv, and Valencia.
Now, Argentina could start against Rayo Vallecano as Ansu Fati could rest, following his long-term injury.
“Sergio Aguero is ready to have more time on the pitch, even if he is not ready to play 90 minutes,” Ronald Koeman said of the summer signing.
“He’s ready, however, to start the game or play the whole second half.”
We’ll see if Sergio Aguero starts on Wednesday when the Catalan club visits Vallecas to face Rayo Vallecano.
