Aan Roman Riquelme, one of Argentina’s most prolific footballers who represented the likes of Boca Juniors, Barcelona, and Villarreal during his tenure, believes Paris Saint-Germain have a good chance of winning the UEFA Champions League with Leo Messi on their list.

PSG are the leading scorers in Europe, although they have never done so in their history, and Riquelme is confident that if they fail to win with Messi in their squad, they will never.

“If PSG doesn’t win the UEFA Champions League now with Leo Messi, they won’t win,” Riquelme said in an interview with ESPN.

With the current vice-president of Boca Juniors, there is no doubt as to who is the best player in the world right now.

Riquelme said “Leo Messi is the best because he likes to play football,”

While Riquelme believes Leo Messi will lead PSG to UEFA Champions League fame, he predicts to return to Barcelona next time.

he also said, “I think Messi will win the Champions League with PSG and retire from Barcelona,”

Leo Messi has signed a 2-year contract with PSG this summer, so he will again be a 36-year-old free transfer agent in 2023.
