After the event was postponed to the last year 2020, the prestigious Ballon d’Or, presented by France Football, is back and the 2021 trophies will be launched on November 29.
The World Player of the Year award will be voted on by 180 journalists and a list of 30 players to be selected will be announced on October 8.
The Outstanding Actress Award, in its third edition, will be voted on by 50 professional journalists.
Meanwhile, the Kopa Trophy, also organized by France Football, will be voted on by the 32 winners of the Ballon d’Or, with a shortlist of 10 candidates.
The goalkeeper of the year award, the Yashin Trophy, will be voted on by the same judge as to the men’s Ballon d’Or.
All of these awards will be presented at a fun event at the Chatelet Theater in Paris on November 29.
