While rumors are rife with French international Kylian Mbappe’s future, Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has added to the controversy by saying Paris Saint-Germain will soon be able to join Real Madrid.
According to Marca’s report says, Speaking on the subject of Leo Messi’s move to PSG, Kroos pointed out that there could be an effect that could lead to an unnamed player moving to Real Madrid.
“We’ll see how it all goes (about Messi signing for PSG),” he told Einfach mal Luppen, a podcast he shared with his brother.
“This move may be good for us because our biggest rivals have lost their best player.
“And some of the best can come out of it. Maybe a player from Paris [Saint-Germain] will join us … I don’t know.”
Despite the signing of Messi by PSG, the Ligue 1 giants seem determined to keep Mbappe to build a good first team with Neymar.
However, as Real Madrid’s interest in Kylian Mbappe is well known, coupled with the fact that he has not signed a new extension to his current contract, which expires next summer 2022, Kroos’ comments will add more fuel to the already raging fire.
