The Poland international Robert Lewandowski, who turns 33 on Saturday, Lewandowski has scored 41 Bundesliga goals to break Gerd Muller’s 49-year-old record.

Lewandowski joined Bayern Munich in July 2014 and has won the German league title in his seven seasons at the club, lifting the Champions League for the first time in 2019-20.

According to Sky Sports News, Robert Lewandowski is happy at Bayern Munich but now would like to move to another European club before the age of 35.

The striker is estimated at £ 100m, although the figure is likely to pay the winner of last year’s European Golden Shoe award.

Robert Lewandowski is believed to be frustrated with Bayern’s refusal to sell him but is unlikely to force the transfer as it could damage his good relationship with the German club.

Bayern’s ninth number had previously been linked with Chelsea, before breaking their record of signing Romelu Lukaku, and Manchester City was also monitoring the striker, although their main focus remains Tottenham Hotspur’s, Harry Kane.
