Manchester City have already broken the England transfer record by signing Jack Grealish from English club Aston Villa for £ 100m, but the Man City manager has confirmed that his club are interested in England Captain Harry Kane.
Tottenham Hotspurs chairman Daniel Levy was initially thought to want £ 160m to question the Harry Kane departure, but a recent report says he may be willing to accept close to £ 140m.
According to the Evening Standard says the Manchester City is ‘confident that they can strike a £ 150m regional agreement on Harry Kane, who has been reinstated for training ahead of the new season.
The report also adds that Man City may not be able to sign Kane before the start of the season but have high hopes that he will be donating a blue shirt by the end of the month.
Tottenham are reportedly making progress in their bid to sign Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez for £ 60m from Inter Milan, but the Argentine international could be a partner in Harry Kane’s strike rather than take over.
Harry Kane scored 221 goals in 336 games for Tottenham, and 166 gaol will come to the English Premier League, but will still win a major trophy with the Lilywhites.
