Harry Kane wants release clause in any new Tottenham contract

Harry Kane

The England international captain announced on Wednesday that he will be staying in Tottenham this summer, despite great interest from Premier League champions Manchester City.

Following the news that Harry Kane will be with the club at the moment, Hotspurs are reportedly keen to sign him to a new £ 330k-a-week deal, although his existing contract should not expire until 2024.

According to The Telegraph says Harry Kane is open to negotiating a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium but would like to see a release clause following Mr. Daniel Levy’s contract.

Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy was considered to be asking£ 150m to part ways with Harry Kane and reportedly stopped taking calls from Manchester City earlier this month, which could lead to Man City facing Cristiano Ronaldo.

Harry Kane made his Tottenham debut this season on the bench against Wolverhampton Wanderers and boasts 221 goals in 337 white appearances.
