The USA international player Cristian Pulisic on the scoresheet in his side’s 2021-22 league opener against Crystal Palace last weekend but has not been pictured in training with Chelsea since Tuesday.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of Friday’s game, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed that the American will be absent from the Gunners due to a coronavirus test.
Tuchel told reporters”Christian, unfortunately, had a good test and needed to follow the rules. He was not training and was not available for the game,”.
According to London football, Cristian Pulisic was informed of the test results on Wednesday morning and immediately separated.
Chelsea will be looking to win it back at the start of their new Premier League season when they travel to the Emirates Stadium to play the Gunners.
