The Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester City are in charge of the UEFA Men Player of the Year and Manager of the Year.
Both UEFA Champions League finalists boast the players who make up the last three places of the prestigious award, and Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, and Kevin De Bruyne are determined to win the title.
The midfielders were given the opportunity to lead Lionel Messi and each received the most votes, despite having his last season with Barcelona and his victory with the Argentine national team.
The final 3 players were selected by a voting judge with 24 coaches for the participating teams in the UEFA EURO 2020 this summer, as well as 80 team coaches participating in last year’s Champions League group stage (32) and last year’s UEFA Europa League (48).
In addition, 55 journalists selected by the European Sports Media (ESM) team were also allowed to vote on the issue, one from UEFA member organizations.
In the Manager of the Year, both Thomas Tuchel and Pep Guardiola will be fighting for greater prestige, as well as Euro 2020 winner Italian coach Roberto Mancini.
