Two players have been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks, with Rafael Varane leading the England squad, with Trippier believed to be wanted as Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s right-back rider, and by providing cover on the other side.

According to The Sun, the contract for the 2 full-backs have ‘ended it all’, with Man United preparing to make an announcement for the two by the end of next week.

The report also says that Manchester United will play Real Madrid £ 50m for Varane, who has 1 year left on his contract with Carlo Ancelotti.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are set to part with £ 18m for Trippier, with England internationals believed to be determined to make a return to the Premier League this summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have already agreed to a contract to sign Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund, and the attacker reportedly finished the doctor earlier this week.
