Carlo Ancelotti’s first appearance at the Bernabeu was a success, as he led Los Blancos to the UEFA Champions League and Copa del Rey in 2014, taking the club’s best coach award on the road.

Ancelotti’s Everton has been promised a European title in most of the 2020-21 Premier League season, but a drop in luck over the last few weeks has seen them finish in tenth place in the rankings.

The report also adds that Ancelotti got on well with President Florentino Perez in 2015, and the club will welcome Italy with open arms.

PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino has also been linked with a move to Madrid, but Leonard appears to be confirming that the club has renewed him for 12 months.

 

Ancelotti has won 31 of 67 appearances in Madrid, and his contract with Everton should not expire until 2024.
