The Argentine International Leo Messi’s only three days left before June to his contract expiring at midnight on June 30 without a renewal agreement.

At midnight on June 30, leo Messi will be a free transfer agent and available to sign anyone he wants unless the Catalans get a single cent. Eager to avoid this happening, Barca President Joan Laporta was working 24/7 and fighting for time. The Messiah, meanwhile, keeps everyone on the edge of his seat.

According to the Marca, Laporta wanted to announce the renewal on June 24, in line with Leo Messi’s birthday, but he could not. Now, you have another day in mind. Tuesday, June 29 is Laporta’s birthday, and being able to announce the Messi’s new contract extension could be the best gift you can think of and, most importantly, is the good news for Barcelona.

With less than 72 hours to fix things, Barcelona are doing their best to avoid getting into a situation where Leo Messi has lost his contract for even one minute. He has been a Barcelona player for more than 20 years, arriving in December 2000, and the club wants him to renew before June 30.
