Chelsea lose out race to PSG for Achraf Hakimi

Hakimi

Achraf Hakimi’s future has been the subject of intense speculation in the past few weeks, with PSG believed to have been racing to Chelsea for his signature.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League club only ever held discussions for Inter Milan Defender and did not make an official offer.

Romano’s report claims that PSG have now reached an agreement for Achraf Hakimi, who will undergo a medical test with the PSG next week before signing a new contract until June 2026.

Inter Milan will already receive an initial fee of €60m (£51.6m) plus €10m (£8.6m) in add-ons for Achraf Hakimi, who scored 7 goals and provided 11 assists in 45 games for the Italian champions last season.
