Sergio Ramos has not yet agreed on a new contract with Los Blancos, which means, as it were, he will leave the Bernabeu freely at the end of June.

Carlo Ancelotti, who has returned to Real Madrid as a replacement for Zinedine Zidane, said he wanted to keep the experienced defender at the club.

Carlo Ancelotti has refused to give any confirmation when it comes to Ramos, who is linked with a move to the Premier League ahead of next season.

Ancelotti told the media. I can’t think of Real Madrid without Sergio Ramos but I couldn’t imagine a day without Carlo Ancelotti!”

“It’s clear that Sergio Ramos is a very important player and a key role play in a lot of success at this club. I know there are discussions about renewal, but I don’t know the details, if I do, I can say a lot.”

Sergio Ramos, who struggled with a lot of injury problems during the 2020-21 season, has been left out of the contention for the Spanish squad for the summer European tournament.
