Bruno Fernandes is set a deal with Manchester United

The former Sporting Lisbon striker continues to super performance under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, scoring 28 goals and 17 assists in all competitions this season.

Fernandes’ contract at Old Trafford does not expire until 2025, but it is understandable that the Red Devils want to reward the Portuguese International player for his great form since arriving in January 2020.

According to The Mirror, Fernandes could expect a double fee for a deal with United, with the 26-year-old currently investing £ 100k a week at Old Trafford.

The report adds that his agent Miguel Pinho arrived in Manchester earlier this week to negotiate a new contract with United, with the Red Devils determined to give Fernandes his future at the club ahead of the Euros.

Bruno Fernandes has scored 40 goals, 25 assists in 79 games for Manchester United so far, and could win his first Europa cup they beat Villarreal in the UEFA Europa League final next week.

Manchester United are also believed to have linked Pinho with a move for left-back Nuno Mendes, but a £ 60m release clause could spark a problem.
