The 20-year-old has scored 37 goals and has provided 11 assists in 38 games fin all competition of this season, with many clubs reportedly keen to sign him in the upcoming market.
Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea are also believed to be interested in the Norwegian srtiker, who will have a € 75million (£ 65million) release clause in his Dortmund contract next summer.
Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke has insisted that Erling Haaland will not leave the club through the transfer window.
However, according to transfer expert Ian McGarry, Barcelona have now tested the promise of a £ 90million player who has scored 10 goals in the UEFA Champions League this season before his side are eliminated from the competition.
McGarry told Transfer Window Podcast.”Barcelona have made an initial bid for € 105m (£ 90m). I suspect it is not a request they believe will be accepted by Borussia Dortmund, as the player’s rating is around € 150m (128.73),”
“However, as all negotiations start with gossip rather than shouting. [Laporta] has successfully shot if you like BVB, about trying to sponsor the deal.”
It is alleged that Haaland could try to force them to Dortmund this summer if their side does not qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.
