The Citizens’ leading scorer prepares to bid farewell to the faithful Manchester City after 10 years at the club, Sunday’s game against Everton was the last of his appearances at the Etihad in the sky blue.
The move to another Premier League club has been cut as Sergio Aguero wants to continue to rise in the top scorer’s list, but Barcelona have been rumored to be at the forefront of his signing line-up.
Now, Italian Journalist Fabrizo Romano says an agreement has been reached for Sergio Aguero to join Barcelona on a 2-year contract, and he will be introduced as a Blaugrana player after the UEFA Champions League final.
Fabrizio Romano adds that the 32-year-old will be tested for medical tests in the next few days, and has refused to be offered by three unnamed teams to complete a trip to Catalonia.
Sergio Aguero has scored 258 goals in 388 games for Manchester City and is striving to be in a good position to face Sunday against Everton and the final weekend of the UEFA Champions League.
