Manchester City close to sign England Captain Harry Kane?

The England captain is believed to have told Spurs he wanted to leave the club in the coming markets, putting the likes of Man City, Manchester United, and Chelsea ahead.

Both Man City and Man United are reportedly keen to offer the 27-year-old a 5-year contract worth £ 300,000 a week, with the clubs thought to be a favorite.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is believed to have introduced Kane to the region for £ 150million, with the player still having more than 3 years left on his current contract.

However, according to The Guardian, the Premier League champions want to sign the Englishman this summer and are preparing to open talks with Spurs.

The report said Manchester City had already been in contact with Kane’s representatives to discuss whether a possible replacement for outgoing Sergio Aguero at Etihad Stadium.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are also thought to be fans of the striker, who has scored 32 goals and provided 16 assists in 48 games at the club level during the 2020-21 season.
