According to The Mirror, Cavani’s decision to stay, in addition to the emergence of Mason Greenwood, means the England champions who have played 20 games are unlikely to sign a new striker this summer.
The report says Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho could be Man United’s top player in the next transfer market, as head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to fill the void on the right-wing in his XI.
The Red Devils are suspected of being ‘certain’ that Greenwood, who has worked hard on the right, will be the club’s top leader in the future.
Solskjaer’s side are also believed to be keen to bring a new player to the club’s center this summer, with Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane considered the top scorer.
