Paris Saint-Germain gained momentum ahead of their second UEFA Champions League final match against Manchester City, with Kylian Mbappe recovering from an injury.
The Frenchman missed PSG’s Ligue 1 clash with Lens at the weekend due to a calf problem, but PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino has included him in the Champions League squad, which shows everything is fine with Mbappe.
Pochettino said after the Lens game “I’m hopeful. We believe he’ll be there, but we’ll make a decision before the game,”
If he plays, however, PSG will hope he will be shown better than he did in the first leg.
L’Equipe described his performance as “ghostly” and gave him 3 out of 10 in their ratings. With 27 goals and 17 assists in 45 UCL appearances, he was unable to shoot in the net when they first met.
