The Brazilian Number 10 recently said he was “very happy” in the PSG and talks over a new contract with Mauricio Pochettino’s team are moving in the right direction.
Neymar has not yet signed a new contract, but his current terms expire in June 2022.
According to RAC1, Barca are close to PSG to discuss the possibility of a reunion with the Brazilian in the next transfer market window.
The RAC report says Neymar is Barca’s target ahead of Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, but Pochettino’s side has insisted that the former Santos player will not sell.
Neymar has scored 105 goals and signed 76 assists in Barca’s 186 games between 2013 and 2017 before moving to the PSG.
Since joining PSG, Neymar has scored 84 goals and signed 50 assists in 110 games at the club level, winning three Ligue 1 titles.
