Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is set to return to face UCL against Chelsea

The German International midfielder missed the last 3 Madrid games, after suffering a serious injury while out of action last month.

However, the 31-year-old took full advantage of full-time training with his Real Madrid teammates on Sunday and is now in contention against Chelsea at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.

Kroos has made 38 appearances for Zinedine Zidane’s Madrid side in all competitions this season, the most recent match against Liverpool in the last 12 days.

Real Madrid are hoped to be without French Left-back Ferland Mendy in the middle of the week, however as the defender did not take part in training on Sunday.
