The England international has been relegated from the bench in recent weeks after hitting the net only once in his last 12 games, with Phil Foden holding the issue of when he will start on the left.

Sterling was given the top spot in Saturday’s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea, but also criticized fans for the 1-0 defeat, with the club reportedly set to negotiate a 2023 extension.

According to the Daily Star says Real Madrid is ready to rekindle their interest in foreign England, who have previously tried to sign before accepting his future at Manchester.

However, the report adds that Sterling is already satisfied at the Etihad, and expects to continue negotiations for a new contract after this type of European Championship.

The city is believed to have hit the $ 80millin head of the former Liverpool man, who boasts 9 goals and seven assists out of 27 Premier League this season.
